XenaTech Software Integration Services, LLC (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) has developed a mobile application (“Cal-Ride”) that collects data from your device to provide you with pertinent transit travel information.

1. OBJECTIVE

By using Cal-Ride, you accept the terms and conditions described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

2. PURPOSE

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose and safeguard your information when you use Cal-Ride.

3. SCOPE

Cal-Ride may contain links to websites, apps, products, or services that are operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not extend to these third parties on which we have no control and for which we cannot be held liable. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to the third-party online store from which you install Cal-Ride or make payments, including any in-game virtual items. We encourage you to read about the privacy policies, procedures, and practices of those third parties.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via Cal-Ride depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:

• Derivative Data – Information our servers automatically collect when you access Cal-Ride, such as your native actions that are integral to Cal-Ride, including liking, re-blogging, or replying to a post, as well as other interactions and other users via server log files.
• Mobile Device Data – Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, location, and any other data you choose to provide.
• Push Notifications – We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or Cal-Ride.

5. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We may use information collected from or provided by you for the following purposes:

• Enable user-to-user communications.
• Provide you with pertinent transport information for nearby services.
• Understand your preferences so that we can customize Cal-Ride for you, such as recommending personalized options.
• Restore your preferences if you log into your Cal-Ride account on a different device.
• Measure usage of Cal-Ride, including usage of specific features and views.
• Offer you rewards such as credits or promo codes for services that are available in Cal-Ride.
• Generate real-time location data of transit vehicles and broadcast the vehicle location and predicted arrival times to other users.
• Securely transfer your usage details, payment information and user credentials to mobility operators to provide you access to their services.
• Develop and improve Cal-Ride based on your feedback and interactions.
• Guide product development and build new features.
• Conduct research on user habits and how they use public transportation.
• Identify and correct bugs and other problems with Cal-Ride.
• Respond to your emails and help with support queries.
• Keep you posted from time to time on latest announcements and additional information.
• Perform other business activities as needed.

6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

• By Law or to Protect Rights – If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation. • Interactions with Other Users – If you interact with other users of Cal-Ride, those users may see your name (if you provide one) and the information that you post.
• Business Partners – We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
• Other Third Parties – We may share your information with advertisers and investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. We may also share your information with such third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law.
• Business Transactions – In case of a prospective business transaction, you agree that Cal-Ride may disclose anonymous and aggregate information to another corporation for the parties to determine whether to proceed with such transaction. In case a business transaction is completed, you agree that any information may be transferred to the corporation that owns Cal-Ride or the relevant part of it to carry out its business. A “business transaction” includes, but is not limited to, a reorganization, merger, purchase, sale or other acquisition or disposition of the business or any of its assets.

We may also disclose anonymous and aggregate information to certain third parties for research, product development or other business purposes. For instance, we may share information with transit agencies to help them analyze and improve their services.

7. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE OR SERVICE

We may be using third party software or service providers for various needs to collect or process information (the "Third Party Service Provider"). These third-party services may include the usage of Software Development Kits (“SDKs”). Note that these are independent software or service providers and we do not take any liability about the information collection policies of these providers, or about any kind of issue, legal or otherwise, relating thereto.

We may also provide additional transit-related services, including on-demand transit services, provided by a third-party operational service partner (as they may evolve from time to time at our discretion). Such third-party providers are subject to their respective terms of use and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

We are committed to securing your information and we take reasonable physical, organizational, and technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Although we take great efforts to protect your information, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

9. CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using our contact information below.

We reserve the right to amend or change this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. We will alert you about changes by updating the “Last Updated” date on this Privacy Policy. By using Cal-Ride, you agree to be bound by the version of the privacy policy displayed on the date upon which you use the app. If you do not accept the amended or changed Privacy Policy, you may not access, use, or continue to use Cal-Ride. By continuing to access and use Cal-Ride, you are acknowledging your acceptance of the amendments and changes. We recommend that you consult this page regularly to be informed of any changes in this Privacy Policy.
